The injunction contained in the title of this book Cambiare la prosa del mondo informs a need to transform, and rethink, the writing of the world. Echoing the variety of cultures, multidisciplinarity and pluralistic, critical and committed spirit of the Villa Medici residents (2024-2025), this publication sets out to reveal the operations of the artistic, poetic, political and ecological narratives at the heart of their respective research. This variable-geometry, loosely-bound notebook is criss-crossed with heterogeneous content, scattered with new texts, images, phrases and documents testifying to this intense, whirlwind year of experimentation spent at the Villa.
