Profession: Born in 1973 in Paris, prestidigitator, mountaineer and acrobat, he is the director of four short fiction films (Une rue dans sa longueur, 1999; Là ce jour, 2001; Petits pas, 2003; De sortie, 2005) in which he is the main actor. These films, one of which was selected for the Directors¹ Fortnight (Cannes 2004), have won several awards at various festivals. In 2004, as part of the “Portraits” collection for Arte, he directed a short documentary (Dans la voie: Portrait d¹un guide au travail) shot in the high mountains of the Alps. In October 2005, he became a resident at the Villa Médicis, where he wrote the script for his first feature film, a burlesque love comedy in which the actor¹s body, movements and postures play a decisive role.
