Biography
After training with Hussein Chalayan, Jeanne Vicerial, textile/clothing designer and founder of the design, research and innovation studio Clinique Vestimentaire, develops new textile design principles within the studio. Jeanne’s thesis (SACRe Ph.D.Candidate ENASAD_LAB-PSL Research University, Paris) questions contemporary ways of designing clothing.
Training :
Graduated in garment design from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs;
Formation Lesage (embroidery);
London College of Fashion (london) leather goods accessories;
D.M.A (Diplôme des métiers d’art) option costumier réalisateur, école Paul Poiret (Paris).
Open call fellows annual selection
Each year, the French Academy in Rome - Villa Medici organizes an international competition to select fellows who will be welcomed at the Villa Medici in Rome for a 12-month residency in creation, experimentation and research (residency begins in September, ends in August).
