In capsule – sound correspondences by Fanny Taillandier :

What if the great texts of the past were to enter into a dialogue with our current situation? This is what these sound bites invite us to do: blind, the writer Fanny Taillandier – currently a resident at Villa Médicis – reads and sends a literary excerpt about solitude, epidemics or confinement to radio producer Chloé Leblond. She combines them with the field recording of her own quarantine, sounds caught on the fly, from her window or during the rare authorized outings. The challenge is to shift the meaning, to give it a different one, by provoking random parallels and fatally anachronistic echoes, or to bring out poetry, humor or emotion.
