Profession: Writer Stéphane Audeguy was a lecturer at the University of Charlottesville, Virginia (USA). He then taught French literature and the history of cinema and the arts in France, at various high schools and universities. He is a regular contributor to N.R.F., Philosophie Magazine and Magazine littéraire. He has published three novels with Editions Gallimard in the Blanche collection, “La Théorie des nuages” (2005); “Fils unique” (2006); “Nous autres” (2009). as well as two essays: “Petit éloge de la douceur” (Folio “Inédit”, 2007); “Les Monstres, si loin, si proches” (“Découvertes Gallimard”, 2007). A third essay, “Pigault-Lebrun, l’enfant du carnaval”, will be published in November 2009 in the “L’un et l’autre” collection, edited by JB Pontalis. He is a resident at Villa Médicis from 2009 to 2010.
