Profession: Designer Born in Bogota (Colombia) in 1981, Felipe Ribon studied environmental engineering at the Ecole de Mines, before entering the E.N.C.S.I., from which he graduated in 2008 with honors. He was awarded the Grand Prix Design de la Ville de Paris in 2009, as well as the Prix du Public at the Villa Noailles for his project, “une autre salle de bain”. In 2012, he was the winner of the Audi Talent Awards, which enabled him to develop a project on hypnotic objects. A designer, he is also a photographer and curator. During his residency at Villa Medici, Felipe Ribon will attempt to develop a research project on the genre of objects.
