Profession: Originally from Rennes, a graduate of HEC, Emmanuel Burdeau was editor-in-chief of cahiers du Cinéma from October 2000 to April 2009. He has contributed to the publication of several books on cinema and the organization of film festivals, and has lectured in Performing Arts at the Sorbonne. During his stay at Villa Médicis, he devoted himself to two projects : writing a book dedicated to the filmmaker Vincente Minnelli and designing an aesthetic review.
