Je hais les dormeurs by Violette Leduc, accompanied by details of a drawing by Béatrice Cussol. A visual artist, she is an assiduous practitioner of collage and drawing, using watercolor and ballpoint pen in reverse, on large sheets of paper or on large sections of wall, through an unnatural use of watercolor and bic: the fresco, or almost. She is represented by Galerie Eric Mircher in Paris, as well as by envoy Gallery in New York, Galerie Porte Avion in Marseille and Galerie Charlotte Moser in Geneva. She took part in the exhibitions ”
Global feminism show” at the Brooklyn Museum in 2007, ”

Each year, the winner of the Price Occitanie - Medici is selected on the basis of an application and an audition of the shortlisted candidates, each of whom presents his or her project to a jury made up of representatives of the Region, the Director of Villa Medici and associated experts.
