Wine tasting with Pierre Charriol, wine producer

Pierre Charriol, whose family owns the Château de Lescours estate – a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru – will be presenting his work as a winegrower who champions the principles of sustainable agriculture. This event will provide an opportunity to introduce the audience to an analysis of the aromas and fragrances that characterise his grape variety. He will also be hosting a tasting game in collaboration with the Roman boutique VaSano.

a talk with Noémie Lvovsky, screenwriter, director and actress

During the event at the Villa Medici, Noémie Lvovsky will reflect on her dual role : that of actress and director. In 2001, in Ma femme est une actrice, her friend Yvan Attal revealed her boundless energy. Her success as an actress should not overshadow her career as a filmmaker, which began in the 1990s. An explorer of the intimate, she describes herself as “driven by necessity and a love of fiction.”

Noémie Lvovsky directed her first two short films, Dis-moi oui, dis-moi non and Embrasse-moi (1989), starring Emmanuelle Devos, who was then a newcomer. In 1991–1992, she collaborated as a screenwriter with Arnaud Desplechin on the films La Vie des morts and La Sentinelle. In 1993, she made her feature film debut with Oublie-moi, starring Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi. Some of her most significant films include Les Sentiments (2003, Louis Delluc Prize), Faut que ça danse! (2007) and Camille redouble (2012). She has also appeared as an actress in Yvan Attal’s Ma femme est une actrice, Arnaud Desplechin’s Rois et reine, and Benoît Jacquot’s Les Adieux à la reine. In 2013, she wrote the screenplay for Un château en Italie for Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.
