Rachid Ouramdane grew up in a family environment shaped by the Algerian War. This past, marked by violence and exile, permeates many of his choreographic works. The dual cultural heritage in which he was raised led him to become aware at a very early age of the multiplicity of identities, which became the core of his artistic exploration.

He has developed an art of encounter, the sensory and all-encompassing experience of which requires us to challenge all our preconceptions. He has undertaken numerous projects at the intersection of dance and documentary, based on meticulous research involving the collection of testimonies conducted in collaboration with documentary filmmakers.

Lora Juodkaite, an artist, is a choreographer and dancer originally from Lithuania; she lives and works in Grenoble. From a very young age, she devoted herself to a spinning movement, a daily ritual that allowed her to develop an extraordinary ability to spin continuously. This unique practice is now an integral part of her personal choreographic language.

She trained in dance at the Vilnius Academy of Arts and the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) in Austria, where she graduated in 2005. After gaining experience in film and theater, she returned to Vilnius to join Vytis Jankauskas’s dance company.
