She recently exhibited at MMK Frankfurt, where she was awarded the Ponto Prize 2026, and is the winner of the Dorothea von Stetten Prize at Kunstmuseum Bonn. Upcoming exhibitions include solo shows at Spike Island (Bristol) and Soft Gallery (London). Her work is also part of public collections such as the Musée d’art Moderne in Paris, and the MAC VAL.

Project

Tohé Commaret’s residency project revolves around a feature-length film she is currently researching, set between Chile and France, like two disjointed spaces she is seeking to bring into dialogue. Between the Atacama and the city, the film explores what connects on the inside: copper, hidden networks, and lives we’d rather not see. Through female figures, from Andean cholitas to young women from immigrant families in the Paris suburbs, the film sketches parallel trajectories, lives that don’t seem destined to intersect.
