Period: 2007-2008
Occupation: Visual artist Born in 1967. After graduating from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, she studied screenwriting at the Deutsche Film und Fernseh Akademie in Berlin and at Femis in Paris. She has produced numerous exhibitions and films in which the question of the image is at stake. She uses a variety of media: super 8, 16 mm, video and photography. Still and moving images function as substrates of memory, a memory torn between its evidential value and its loss. Her various solo exhibitions, at the Plateau, Frac île de France, and the Musée Zadkine in Paris, have taken a stand on the status of images and the possibilities of representation, and her work has been shown in many countries, including Germany, Spain, Japan, Korea, Canada and Argentina. Her films are broadcast on Arte and at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. In 2013, she presented a solo show at the Galeries Nationales du Jeu de Paume, Paris.
