Program :

Itinéraire expositif:
Focusing on the visual arts and the various forms of expression that make them up, the program was articulated around a central exhibition, an Itinéraire expositif, and a series of correlated initiatives. The first part paid tribute to the venue hosting the exhibition, focusing mainly on notable contemporary artists working in France, in some cases proposing their first presence in Italy.
These artists included such great contemporary talents as : Wilfrid Almendra, Iván Argote, Davide Balula, Christoph Büchel, Polys Peslikas.

A number of Villa Medici fellows have also taken part in this itinerary through a variety of proposals, including : Juan Arroyo, Boris Bergmann, Claire Lavabre, Marc Leschelier, Roque Rivas and Odysseas Yiannikouris.

Point of view
Figures from the world of culture, communication and entertainment, who are sensitive to contemporary art but not necessarily specialists, are invited to lead guided tours of the exhibition, offering their own original reading of the works on display, according to their specific skills.

Special projects
These are exhibition, literary and sound projects conceived by Villa Medici residents. These form an ideal link between the works that make up the Itinéraire éxpositif, and present a synthetic attempt at the research that keeps them busy in Rome.

A completely different kind of music
Artists, including some in residence at foreign academies in Rome, brought a DJ set to life. An ideal opportunity to strengthen ties between the Roman artistic scene, cultural institutions and the Academy.
