Born in Blois in 1977, Mathieu Larnaudie is a writer. He lives and works in Paris. Since 2004, he has been co-director of Editions Inculte. His books include Strangulation (Gallimard, 2008), Les Effondrés (Actes Sud, 2010), Acharnement (Actes Sud, 2012), Notre désir est sans remède (Actes Sud, 2015) and Les jeunes gens (Grasset, 2018).
His new novel, Blockhaus, was published in March 2020 by Inculte.
Each year, the French Academy in Rome - Villa Medici organizes an international competition to select fellows who will be welcomed at the Villa Medici in Rome for a 12-month residency in creation, experimentation and research (residency begins in September, ends in August).
