Practical Information:
Location: Atelier del Bosco
This event is the first in a series of photography exhibitions that the Incontri Internazionali d’Arte has organized for the Atelier de la Villa Médicis.
Luciano D’Alessandro’s exhibition features a selection of 93 black-and-white photographs, each measuring 30×40 cm, that document various moments from his career as a photojournalist between 1952 and 2002. The Académie de France is the first stop on this traveling exhibition, which is scheduled to be shown in other European cities. To mark this event, RAI International is producing a 50-minute documentary on the artist and his work, which will be screened during the exhibition and broadcast on a satellite channel. Organized by the Incontri Internazionali d’Arte, this exhibition is accompanied by a catalog, published by Peliti Associati, featuring a critical essay by Achille Bonito Oliva.
