Inside the pavilions built in the garden of Villa Medici, the research and works created by the children of the Istituto Comprensivo Dante Alighieri during the workshops led by Alessandra Cecchini and Michele Tocca, designed to introduce young participants to artistic practice through exercises in observation, drawing and painting, will be on display.

IUNO

IUNO is a curatorial project and research center for contemporary art founded in 2021 by Ilaria Gianni and Cecilia Canziani, offering exhibitions, seminars, children’s workshops, consultancy activities as well as artist commissions and a residency program dedicated to art writing.

Designed to provide a space and time for encounters between people, places and languages, IUNO promotes a working method based on exchange, dialogue and the sharing of space and time: that’s why each year it invites a group of people from different backgrounds to think and work around a word.

Since its creation, IUNO has promoted an interdisciplinary and dialogical approach, involving theorists and academics in the organization of seminars (also conceived as an opportunity to initiate collaborations with institutions and universities), and artists in the conception of workshops, works and exhibition projects.
