Biography

Pianist, percussionist, singer, film composer, Léonie Pernet (1989, France) released her EP “Two of Us” in 2014 and composed for the film “Bébé Tigre”. In 2018, her acclaimed debut album “Crave” is followed by an international tour. In 2021, she unveils the powerful and eclectic “Cirque de Consolation”. She also composes for the Arte event series “H24” in 2022.

Project

Léonie Pernet pursues her creative path beyond the horizon, guided by René Char’s “Poème Pulvérisé”: “I took my head as one takes a lump of salt and literally pulverized it”. To begin again, to reinvent our vision, to pulverize our history, our limits and those of the world around us. Plunging wholeheartedly into poetic writing, she favors the power of words set to music to capture and convey the human experience, creating a transformative experience for the listener.
