This event will explore the ways in which technology can augment the positive effects of art and culture. Through concrete examples such as generative art, digital painting and blockchain, we’ll discuss how these innovative tools can reach and inspire a global audience, transforming our approach to major contemporary challenges.
Sébastien Devaud, known asAgoria, is a digital artist from the Web3 world. A leading figure in contemporary digital art, his entire artistic practice revolves around generative biological art, the creation of works using algorithms, artificial intelligence and data from the living world. He works with scientists to create works that combine art, music, the Metaverse and science, with the aim of bringing the living world into the blockchain.
Hermine Bourdin is an artist based in Paris. Her approach blends modern technology and tradition, embracing ecofeminism by weaving together the preservation of nature and the worship of the divine feminine. Known for her abstract sculptures and digital work, her artistic practice is inspired by the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods.
His sculptures have been exhibited in renowned galleries in Berlin, London, Paris, New York, Geneva, Copenhagen and Prague, and his digital art has been shown in Paris, Miami, New York City and Lisbon.
Myriam Brouard is Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management. She is a consumer culture theorist, working at the intersection of marketing and anthropology to understand what drives the adoption of disruptive technologies. Her research focuses on diversity, equity and inclusion in technological spaces such as Web3 and the Metaverse, and particularly how black and indigenous creators navigate these new spaces.

Formerly head of curation and artist relations at Nifty Gateway, Javier now heads Euskal Ridge Capital, which invests in cutting-edge digital art and innovative projects, in the hope of shaping the future of the industry.
