"Ristretto: Nouvelle Vague sul Tevere x Villa Medici

As part of Nouvelle Vague sul Tevere, a celebration of the Paris+Rome twinningthe Villa Médicis is pleased to host the Ristretto award ceremony.

The Ristretto competition was born with the aim of promoting the new generation of filmmakers, celebrating the Fémis and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia- Scuola Nazionale di Cinema, the most important film schools in France and Italy and two historic institutions committed to the training of young filmmakers, united in this original competition, which takes place between Paris and Rome.

The two short films produced by prizewinners from La Fémis and Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Scuola Nazionale di Cinema will be presented on this occasion. The Académie de France à Rome – Villa Médicis will be pleased to welcome the jury, as well as the Parisian winner of this year’s competition.
