Musician and composer Bertrand Belin offers an intimate concert as part of his residency at Villa Medici. This time, he performs with Jean-Baptiste Julien (composer for Rachid Ouramdane, among others) in a piano-voice configuration, where together they revisit his repertoire.
Bertrand Belin (1970) is a singer, songwriter, comedian, actor and writer. His latest, and seventh, album Tambour Vision was released in 2022, and is accompanied by a French and international tour of venues and festivals, with over 130 dates until summer 2024. This year, he composed the music for Blandine Lenoir’s new film and for the Larrieu brothers’ next film, in which he stars alongside Laetitia Dosch and Karim Leklou. As an actor, he is currently on tour with the play En travers de sa gorge, directed by Marc Lainé with Marie-Sophie Ferdane. He is currently working on his fifth book, to be published by Editions P.O.L.
