The performance by Julien Bismuth (Paris, 1973; lives and works in New York) invites us to discover the Villa’s gardens and their history, past and present. Legno (2016) takes the form of an itinerary that the artist leads through the park’s paths, inviting the public to remain in silence to listen to the sounds and breathe in the fragrances produced by nature, today as in centuries past.
