Art Club #13 ἐπιϕάνεια / Epiphany

ἐπιφάνεια/Epiphany transforms the Citerne into an acoustic room. Like “epiphanies”, sound pieces imagined by some of the protagonists of visual art in recent decades materialize within it, creating a completely immaterial sensory space. The successive sequences have been made available by RAM radioartemobile’s SAM – Sound Art Museum, a platform for contemporary art dedicated to sound research. Founded in Rome in 2003 by Mario Pieroni and Dora Stiefelmeier, RAM launched the SAM in 2004 , an archive from which the pieces in our ἐπιφάνεια/Epiphany come. Some of them were chosen from the pieces in Maurizio Nannucci’s Keeping time/Zonaradio artist’s audioworks program, 1996 Zona Archives, Florence.
