Project at Villa Medici :

Léa Chauvel-Lévy is preparing her second novel to be published by Editions JCLattès in 2024. It deals with filiation and fatherhood, seen through the eyes of a lost but determined woman. The narrator, following a traumatic event, is led to question her origin. This novel, « Une demande folle », is a plunge into the heart of a matrix, that of a woman who, approaching forty, understands everything about her childhood. She examines her relationship with her father and this traumatic event and reconnects with him, even if it means falling into a state of limbo.
