Her project at Villa Medici

The Académie des Traces ambitions to better understand the major societal challenge represented by the colonial collections held in Western museums, and which are inextricably linked to a plurality of memories that are always sensitive and often painful. The Académie des Traces proposes to discuss the various areas of museum work relating to colonial collections: provenance research, questions of restitution, exhibition, artistic creation and mediation, as well as the policy of generating collections and archives.
