Clément Cogitore

After studying at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg and at the Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains, Clément Cogitore developed a practice at the intersection of contemporary art and cinema. Mixing films, videos, installations, and photographs, his work explores the ways in which humans coexist with their images. It often involves rituals, collective memory, the representation of the sacred, and a certain idea of the permeability of worlds.
