Due to heavy rainfall, we are forced to cancel all garden visits scheduled for today, Sunday, September 27th, on the occasion of the European Heritage Day at Villa Medici.

Duration of the guided tour: about 45 minutes. Visits in English, French and Italian. All tours are held outdoors.

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, on Sunday 27 September the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici opens part of its gardens to offer the public a journey through the artistic and heritage history of the place.
Villa Medici guides will be on hand to accompany visitors on a tour that begins at the Belvedere and its incredible panorama of the city, continuing on to the Piazzale to take a closer look at the Villa’s ornate façade, to the vegetable garden and the Viale degli aranci.

Important information:
In order to guarantee a safe environment for all, we kindly ask participants to bring their own personal protective mask before entering the Villa Medici.
Free advanced booking is mandatory for this event which is guaranteed to a limited number of visitors.
Hand sanitizers will be available for visitors at the entrance of the venue and a body temperature check will be performed for all participants before entering the site.
Helmets and suitcases are not allowed within the spaces of Villa Medici.
