Vivere Pontis proposes to connect two adjacent squares of the gardens of the Villa Medici through an inhabited walkway that offers a new experience of the historic gardens. The bridge stages the crossing of the hedges and the path through a series of levels that allow climbing at varying rates. In this way, new perspectives on the landscape are offered to visitors who can contemplate the distant horizon of the city and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the gardens.
The walkway of Vivere Pontis welcomes and composes a multitude of uses that resonate with the horticultural conditions of the gardens. Screen, seating and stage are all ways of inhabiting the different spaces in natural immersion.

About offset
Born from a passion and a common path, offset is the result of the decision of twenty friends to come together to pool their strengths. Seeking to offer a framework to participate together in projects and architectural competitions, the association offers its members an opportunity to consolidate the values that unite them and to develop a common experience.
Made up of friends who are architects, students and graduates, it seeks to dialogue and unite with local actors in a process of valorisation and sharing of expertise. After a year since its foundation, the association has succeeded in carrying out several projects under its label, addressing the themes of participation, rehabilitation and self-construction.
