On Wednesday, May 3 at 4 p.m., as part of the Out of Residency meeting cycle, professionals from the Academies, foreign and Roman cultural institutions will meet for a panel discussion moderated by Sabrina Vedovotto on the theme : “How to expand relationships and interactions between foreign institutions and the Roman scene ?”

OUT OF RESIDENCY wants to initiate new processes of reflection, with the intention of expanding interactions between Academies, Foreign Cultural Institutes and the entire Roman cultural and political scene. It is with the desire for constructive dialogue and confrontation that the 3 round tables “Building a Future” were envisioned.

The central issue “How to expand relationships and interactions between foreign institutions and the Roman scene” completes the entire programming in its search for alternatives. The discussions give voice to various actors from both the cultural and local political scene, with the aim of understanding their different “missions” and positions. Discovering together new collaborative methods.

Speakers:
Frederic Blancart (Head of the Office of Fellows and Residents, Villa Medici)
Cecilia Casorati (director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome)
Lorenza Fruci (cultural planner and communicator, former councillor for culture in Rome)
Andrea Frosolini (artistic director of Spazio In Situ)
Julia Tropl (artistic relations manager, German Academy – Villa Massimo)
