Master Class Piccola Accademia di Montisi

Master Class : Skip Sempé & Pierre Hantaï (CLASS IS FULL) From the 28th to 31th October 2013, the Piccola Accademia di Montisi will offer a special 4 day Master Class in Rome, in co-production with the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici and the Capriccio Stravagante. The Master Classes will take place daily from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00. Skip Sempe and Pierre Hantaï will each teach one session per day and will be limited to 6 students. The Master Classes will be given on: • a double manual harpsichord from Couchet 1650, by Bruce Kennedy, 2008, provided by the Collection of the Piccola Accademia di Montisi • a double manual harpsichord from Blanchet 1730, by Bruce Kennedy, 2011, provided by the Collection of the Piccola Accademia di Montisi • an anonymous 17th century Franco-Flemish harpsichord, provided by the Collection of the French Academy of France in Rome – Villa Medici Repertoire – Open program, with an accent on repertoire from 1650 – 1750.
