Thomas Flahaut (France, 1991) is an author. His novels are published by Editions de l’Olivier: “Ostwald” in 2017, and “Les Nuits d’été” in 2020.

His project at Villa Medici

During his residency at Villa Medici, Thomas Flahaut will embark on the research phase of a book that intertwines the themes of archaeology and the climate catastrophe. By meeting with archaeologists, visiting urban construction sites, and thoroughly exploring the city, he will gather a treasury of images. This research, a prelude to a future novel, will be carried out with a notebook in hand. And this notebook will be presented for reading as an autonomous collection.
